The Learning Spectrum is proud to welcome Christina Boesch as our new Intervention Specialist!
Christina has worked with students on the autism spectrum for over eight years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in human development and family science from The Ohio State University; and a master’s degree in special education and a reading endorsement from Grand Canyon University.
During this school year, she will be providing direct instruction to students, individually and in small groups, to enable students to develop stronger literacy skills. She will utilize technology and evidence-based teaching strategies to work on phonological awareness, fluency, spelling, active listening, vocabulary, comprehension, and phonics.
Christina will work to help students master their IEP goals, and administer assessments to help guide future goals.
Prior to becoming a teacher, Christina spent four years working as an in-home aide, doing discreet trial instruction for children with autism. She lives in Clintonville with her husband and six month old son.
We welcome Christina, and look forward to working with her in her new role!
