The Learning Spectrum is excited to be at the point where we need to renovate our current buildings as well as add additional space to meet the growing need for our services! We want you to know about three significant changes that are in the works for the upcoming school year:
TLS North East
The Learning Spectrum is excited to announce the soon-to-be-opening TLS North East location! Located at 3060 Johnstown Utica Road in Johnstown, TLS North East will combine our Newark and Sunbury schools into one centralized location. Its 10,000 square footage is more than 5,000 square feet larger than our current Newark and Sunbury schools combined!
TLS North East will have more spacious classrooms that will look like traditional classrooms. Set on six acres, its large playground will give our students ample space to burn off excess energy, and enjoy the outdoors. By purchasing this space instead of renting, we are able to build equity and make room for future growth. The building will house TLS North East Administration and Therapy departments, including ABA services.
A New Home for ABA Therapy
Due to changes in Ohio insurance laws, our behavioral health and ABA programs have grown by leaps and bounds, causing us to outgrow our current therapy spaces at TLS Central. We have recently purchased a building in Worthington, which will be used for therapy services and administrative offices. Moving these disciplines out of TLS Central will allow for further enrollment and additional academic classrooms at the site.
Renovations at TLS South (Canal Winchester)
TLS South received a facelift this summer, with the installation of new floors and freshly painted walls. Most exciting for the students, however, is the new playground equipped with a Geo Dome, swing and fresh mulch.
