In fulfilling these responsibilities, this individual will model behavior that supports  TLS mission of “to serve, with excellence, children with autism and related  special needs, in their natural environment. To educate the whole child through a  multi-disciplinary approach that meets each child’s individual needs and  facilitates the highest level of success”.

The Office Manager is expected to:

Participant in relevant TLS professional development opportunities as approved by director:

  • Organize and order supplies for TLS
  • Be familiar with and adhere to the policies and procedures contained within the staff handbook
  • Work a 40 hour a week schedule
  • Reports to top management.
  • Be aware of site events and schedules
  • Respond to parent inquiries and direct them where needed
  •  Assist teachers when needed
  • Manage deposits to bank
  • Keep live checks safe
  • Answer phones and send messages where needed
  • Assist coworkers when available
  • Send off POC for therapies
  • Get RX’s from doctor offices
  • Create and file therapy folders
  • Make folders for server
  • Manage therapy excel spreadsheet
  • Filing and faxing of office paperwork

TLS Office Manager should have…

  • The ability to establish positive relationships with co-workers and parents and students
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communications skills targeted at diverse internal/external stakeholders (e.g. reports, written communications, presentations etc.)
  • A familiarity with key software and database resources and adaptable digital skills
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record which meets our insurance carrier requirements

Completes a background check upon hire and when expired ∙ Performs other related duties as assigned

Pay: $40,000

Job Type:

Full-time during the school year months

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm

Education:

Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification: Teaching Certification (Required)
