To educate the whole child through a multi-disciplinary approach that meets each child’s individual needs and facilitates the highest level of success”.
The Office Manager is expected to:
Participant in relevant TLS professional development opportunities as approved by director:
- Organize and order supplies for TLS
- Be familiar with and adhere to the policies and procedures contained within the staff handbook
- Work a 40 hour a week schedule
- Reports to top management.
- Be aware of site events and schedules
- Respond to parent inquiries and direct them where needed
- Assist teachers when needed
- Manage deposits to bank
- Keep live checks safe
- Answer phones and send messages where needed
- Assist coworkers when available
- Send off POC for therapies
- Get RX’s from doctor offices
- Create and file therapy folders
- Make folders for server
- Manage therapy excel spreadsheet
- Filing and faxing of office paperwork
TLS Office Manager should have…
- The ability to establish positive relationships with co-workers and parents and students
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communications skills targeted at diverse internal/external stakeholders (e.g. reports, written communications, presentations etc.)
- A familiarity with key software and database resources and adaptable digital skills
- Valid driver’s license and driving record which meets our insurance carrier requirements
Completes a background check upon hire and when expired ∙ Performs other related duties as assigned
Pay: $40,000
Job Type:
Full-time during the school year months
Schedule:
8 hour shift Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm
Education:
Bachelor’s (Preferred)
Experience:
Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification: Teaching Certification (Required)
