The Learning Spectrum is excited to announce that plans for the 2017 Winterfest are underway!
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, December 2 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Vineyard Columbus, 6000 Cooper Road in Columbus.
Winterfest is open to all students and families at TLS. It’s an annual celebration packed full of lively student performances, artwork displays, photo opportunities and light refreshments. It’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit and show off the creativity and talents of our students.
Winterfest is a vision of The Learning Spectrum’s Executive Director, Jill Medley, which was first started in 2010. The event is organized by the Creative Arts and Wellness Team, a group of TLS staff members that work with children on the spectrum, their peers, parents and the education team to encourage growth based on individual learning styles. The group organizes engaging experiences, such as Winterfest, that focus on the whole child and his or her individual interests.
