Susan’s spirit definitely shined down on the 2019 Susan Mosure Golf4Autism Memorial. On a perfect weather day, Friday, June 14th, nearly 100 golfers joined us at the annual event to celebrate Susan’s legacy and provide support to The Learning Spectrum, Learning 4 Life Farm and students on the Autism Spectrum
We are proud to announce that The Susan Mosure Golf4Autism Memorial was a once again, a phenomenal success. In our 11th year, the Golf4Autism purpose has always been to bring more community awareness to the needs of local families. 

With a sold out crowd of nearly 100 golfers, this year’s event included a major corporate sponsorships from Central Ohio CPA and DataField Technology with additional sponsorships from Licking Memorial Health Systems, BJ’s Polaris, LA Financial Group, Fisher, and Skrobot & Sheraw, LLC. Glenross Golf Club once again partnered with us to provide their beautiful course and lunch was provided by Yogi’s Hoagies and Giant Eagle with dinner provided by StowBilly’s BBQ.

In total we successfully raised $10,000, of which $7,000 will go directly to The Susan Mosure Foundation. The Parent Teacher organizations of TLS Central, North East and South will each receive $1,000 for their continued support.

Thank you to each and everyone of you that participated in making this year’s event an unforgettable one for both The Learning Spectrum and The Mosure Family.

 

*In 2017, the decision was made to change our name to The Susan Mosure Golf4Autism Memorial. This change honors and reflects on the life of Susan Mosure, The Learning Spectrum’s faithful Finance Director, who lost her battle with cancer in 2017. With that change came the promise that a portion of the funding raised will go directly towards The Susan Mosure Memorial fund which helps to further the education of under privileged students here at The Learning Spectrum.
