Spring Saturday Sessions

Now Enrolling!!

Pre-K Social Skills: Each week we will practice skills needed in specific social situations such as personal information skills, asking and answering questions, recognizing personal space, and staying on topic.  Topics of interest will include safety skills, birthday party, going to the dentist, and going out to eat.  We will use a variety of techniques to teach these social skills, including, but not limited to visual schedules and prompts, direct instruction, video modeling, peer modeling and practice in actual social situations.  The classes will be held at The Learning Spectrum clinic location, with some outside visits that coordinate with topics.  This social skills series is intended for children ages 3-7 and peers are welcome.  T

Art and Movement Classes: This class will be co-taught by a local art teacher and Learning Spectrum teachers. We will be providing a positive experience with art and materials, learning to use them to create artwork and have fun! This class will also incorporate music and movement activities to include yoga, Brain Gym activities, and group games.  This group is intended for both preschool and school-age children. The children will be grouped accordingly and work in small groups throughout the session.
