The Learning Spectrum is pleased to announce the opening of a second location in Canal Winchester, in the site of the former Canal Winchester High School, for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related behavioral and developmental delays. We will be offering a full range of services including small group learning and occupational and speech therapy.
We have students from Canal Winchester as well surrounding areas including Reynoldsburg and Groveport already enrolled.
The small groups (Small Group Learning) are comprised of 2-5 students with an assigned lead teacher who will serve as the contact person for the families. Their day will include curriculum to address IEP goals and also specialized areas of:
-Social/Self help
-Math
-Science/Social Studies
-Health/Physical Education
Our therapeutic services include, but are not limited to:
-Children with Apraxia of Speech
-Articulation and Phonological Disorders
-Social Skills Deficits
-Oral Motor Delays
-Low muscle tone
-Fine Motor/Handwriting Delays
The Learning Spectrum strongly believes that by focusing on each child’s unique strengths and interests we can maximize their skills and potential for individual success.
